She earned her master's in social work from Clark Atlanta University. With over 20 years of experience in the social work field, Josefina Bates is a well-rounded clinician who enjoys working with diverse populations. She works with adults, adolescents, couples, and families. As a psychotherapist, her therapeutic process is simple, straightforward, gentle, and at times challenging. She uses a strengths-based approach, as she believes everyone has the capability to heal from life’s challenges. She will assist you with managing overwhelming emotions, behaviors, and relational issues. Additionally, she will serve as a source of support as you regain your confidence and emotional well-being.
